8 New Movies Releasing On OTT In January
1. Haq (Netflix, January 2)
Inspired by the Shah Bano case, Haq is a courtroom drama that explores women’s rights and personal law in India. Starring Yami Gautam and Emraan Hashmi, the film follows intense legal battles that challenge long-held beliefs. After a strong theatrical run in November 2025, it now streams on Netflix from January 2.
2. 120 Bahadur (Prime Video, January 16)
120 Bahadur tells the story of the Battle of Rezang La during the 1962 Sino-Indian War, where Major Shaitan Singh Bhati leads a small unit of soldiers against overwhelming odds. Farhan Akhtar plays the brave commander standing firm for his nation. While January 16 is mentioned, the final OTT release date is still awaited.
3. De De Pyaar De 2 (Netflix, January 9)
This sequel continues Ashish and Ayesha’s unusual love story as they deal with fresh emotional and family complications. Mixing humour with heartfelt moments, the film looks at modern relationships and the challenges they bring. After its November 2025 theatrical release, it now arrives on Netflix on January 9.
4. Mastiii 4 (ZEE5, January 16)
The popular adult comedy franchise returns with Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi and Aftab Shivdasani bringing back their trademark madness. Known for bold humour and over-the-top fun, the film continues the same chaotic energy fans enjoy. After its November 2025 release in theatres, it is now set to stream on ZEE5 from January 16.
5. Tere Ishk Mein (Netflix, January 23)
Tere Ishk Mein is expected to stream on Netflix after completing its theatrical window. Released in November 2025, the film is reportedly planned for a late-January premiere, with January 23 being discussed. However, the final streaming date is still to be officially confirmed.
6. Gustaakh Ishq (JioHotstar, January 23)
Gustaakh Ishq is expected to arrive on JioHotstar after its theatrical run. The digital release is likely to depend on box-office performance, with January 23 being considered as a possible window. The official OTT date, however, is yet to be confirmed.

This American romantic comedy is based on the bestselling 2021 novel by Emily Henry. Directed by Brett Haley, it stars Emily Bader, Tom Blyth, Lukas Gage, Jameela Jamil, Alan Ruck and Molly Shannon. The film brings a heartfelt story of love and friendship from page to screen.
Bonus: Dhurandhar (Netflix, January 30)
Dhurandhar, starring Ranveer Singh, is reportedly headed to Netflix after its theatrical run. As per reports, January 30 is being considered as the digital premiere date. However, both the platform and release date are still awaiting official confirmation.
