This week’s OTT lineup brings a strong mix of new movies and shows across Netflix, JioHotstar, Prime Video, ZEE5, and Apple TV. From mythological horror and cybercrime comedy to dystopian mystery, romance, action, true crime, and dark comedy, these releases offer plenty of fresh binge-watch options.

 

New OTT Releases This Week (29 Jun-5 Jul)

1. Tavvai (JioHotstar, 29-Jun)

A cruel Maharaj’s actions bring the curse of Tavvai, the goddess of misfortune, upon his village. Even generations later, fear continues to rule the land until a chosen one rises to challenge the darkness. This mythological drama blends ancestral curse, Hindu mythology, supernatural fear, and a fight against evil.

2. Pritam and Pedro (JioHotstar, 3-Jul)

Old-school cop Pedro and young hacker Pritam are forced to team up after a digital kidnapping case involving a chief minister’s son. Their uneasy partnership pulls them toward a dangerous cybercriminal and a messy world of tech-driven crime. This cybercrime comedy-thriller mixes humour, suspense, crime, and chaos.

3. Human Vapor (Netflix, 2-Jul)

Toho reboots its classic 1960 tokusatsu film with a new story and modern visual effects. During a live TV broadcast, a man suddenly turns into gas, kills someone, and escapes without being caught. A suspended detective and a journalist then race to uncover the truth before more danger follows.

4. Elle (Prime Video, 1-Jul)

This Legally Blonde prequel follows teenage Elle Woods before her Harvard journey changed everything. After moving from Bel-Air to Seattle, she must deal with new friendships, social pressure, forbidden romance, and a very different school life. The series shows the early experiences that shaped Elle’s confidence and personality.

5. Muthassi (ZEE5, 3-Jul)

Set in a remote Tulu village near the Kerala-Karnataka border, this Malayalam horror series follows Leela after her husband returns to his ancestral home. Her quiet life turns terrifying when her son begins behaving strangely and supernatural events become stronger. As fear grows, Leela uncovers a dark family curse hidden for generations.

6. Isakapatnam (Prime Video, 2-Jul)

Set in a fictional 1990s port town, this Telugu action thriller follows three people moving toward powerful leader Naidu’s empire. A justice-driven woman, a conflicted henchman, and a revenge-filled common man challenge his control in different ways. The story turns into a tense clash of power, loyalty, crime, and justice.

7. Enola Holmes 3 (Netflix, 1-Jul)

Enola Holmes returns for a risky new case while preparing to marry Lord Tewkesbury. When Sherlock is kidnapped, she is pulled into a dangerous mystery set in Malta while also facing her own doubts about marriage. This adventure brings emotion, detective drama, suspense, and high-stakes mystery.

8. Survival of the Thickest Season 3 (Netflix, 2-Jul)

Mavis Beaumont returns for her final chapter as she continues trying to build her place in the fashion world. After questioning love, work, and dating earlier, she now leans on her chosen family to move forward. This comedy season brings friendship, ambition, self-discovery, and heartfelt moments.

9. Silo Season 3 (Apple TV, 3-Jul)

Juliette Nichols returns after surviving her forced cleaning, but she comes back with her memory erased. As rebellion rises inside the silo and a new threat appears, the story also moves into the past to reveal a conspiracy behind the silo’s creation. This season deepens the dystopian mystery with bigger stakes and darker secrets.

10. Super Subbu (Netflix, 2-Jul)

Subbu, a city boy with little real-world experience, is sent to a conservative village to teach sex education. His difficult job becomes even messier when gossip, family pressure, and his strict father create more trouble. This Telugu comedy turns an awkward situation into a funny, chaotic, and entertaining ride.

11. Sullivan’s Crossing Season 4 (Netflix, 30-Jun)

Maggie finally seems ready to build a new life at the Crossing with a fresh career path and her commitment to Cal. But when her ex-husband Liam arrives with a revelation, everything becomes uncertain and Cal starts questioning her feelings. This new season brings romance, family tension, emotional turns, and relationship drama.

12. Mollywood Times (JioHotstar, 3-Jul)

Vineeth Madhavan dreams of becoming Malayalam cinema’s greatest horror director, but the film industry is full of politics and pressure. As his ambition grows, his journey becomes funnier, sharper, and more chaotic. This dark comedy turns obsession, filmmaking, and the hunger for success into an entertaining watch.
