1. The Girlfriend (ZEE5, December 5)

Bhooma’s sweet college romance slowly turns toxic when Vikram’s charm turns into control and emotional abuse. As she battles manipulation and social pressure, she struggles to find the courage to walk away. This Telugu drama explores toxic love, self-worth and a young woman’s journey to reclaim her identity.

2. Troll 2 (Netflix, December 1)

Palaeontologist Nora, adviser Andreas and Captain Kris face a deadly troll threatening Trondheim. Using UV-based technology, they race to stop the destruction while uncovering buried Norse myths and history. A dark, action-packed sequel that blends folklore, suspense and large-scale monster chaos.

3. Kuttram Purindhavan (SonyLIV, December 5)

Bhaskar’s attempt to save a child leads to shocking consequences that haunt him deeply. As an investigating officer digs for the truth and a grieving mother seeks answers, hidden secrets slowly surface. This Tamil crime thriller explores guilt, justice and the heavy price of unintended actions.

4. Thamma (Prime Video, December 2)

TV reporter Alok Goyal is saved from a bear attack by Tadaka, a member of a secret tribe of supernatural betaals. When he is offered as a sacrificial donor, Tadaka risks everything to protect him, sparking a forbidden romance. The fifth film in Maddock’s Horror Comedy Universe, Thamma mixes myth, horror, romance and dark humour.

5. Oh. What. Fun. (Prime Video, December 3)

Claire Clauster has carried her chaotic family and perfect Christmases for years, until she finally walks away for a solo escape. As her panicked family reassesses their behaviour, Claire rediscovers joy, rest and her own identity. A warm holiday dramedy about appreciation, boundaries and the real spirit of Christmas.

6. My Secret Santa (Netflix, December 3)

Single mom Taylor struggles with rent and her daughter’s snowboarding school fees, so she secretly takes a job as a male Santa at a luxury ski resort. While hiding her identity from the resort manager Matthew, romance, confusion and festive chaos collide. A charming holiday rom-com about courage, love and Christmas magic.

7. The Abandons (Netflix, December 4)

In 1850s Washington Territory, widowed Fiona Nolan builds a surrogate family of outcasts to protect their land. Powerful and ruthless Constance will do anything to grab their property for hidden silver reserves, sparking a brutal conflict. This gritty Western drama weaves murder, revenge and forbidden romance into a fight for home and survival.

8. Jay Kelly (Netflix, December 5)

Global movie star Jay Kelly hides deep loneliness behind fame and success. When his daughter cancels a vacation, he takes a spontaneous European road trip with his longtime manager Ron, confronting old wounds and broken family bonds. This emotional dramedy, led by George Clooney and Adam Sandler, explores identity, regret and what it really means to be present for the people you love.

9. Stephen (Netflix, December 5)

A man named Stephen walks into a police station and calmly confesses to nine murders. A psychiatrist is called in, and their sessions turn into a tense mind game where reality, guilt and manipulation blur. 10. The Great Pre-Wedding Show (ZEE5, December 5)

Ramesh, a small-town photographer, lands a big pre-wedding shoot that could change his life, but his assistant misplaces the memory card with all the footage. As he rushes to fix the disaster, he faces hilarious problems, romance and pressure from all sides. A light, feel-good Telugu comedy about responsibility, second chances and unexpected love.

David Letterman sits down with Adam Sandler for an honest, funny and emotional conversation in front of a live NYU audience.
