1. Chumbak (Netflix)

Chumbak follows a young author and a quirky support group as they enter the everyday world of five families living in a Mumbai row-house. Their lives are full of shared food, laughter, fights, tears and small moments that slowly turn neighbours into a chosen family. The show feels warm and relatable for viewers who enjoy simple stories about people standing by each other.

2. Lust Stories 3 (Netflix)

Lust Stories 3 brings four new stories about love, desire and intimacy in modern India. Directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, Kiran Rao, Shakun Batra and Vishal Bhardwaj, the anthology explores relationships from different emotional and social spaces. With a strong ensemble cast, the film looks at attraction, longing and complicated choices without treating every love story the same way.

3. Operation Safed Sagar (Netflix)

Operation Safed Sagar is inspired by the Indian Air Force’s role during the 1999 Kargil War. The story follows young fighter pilots from the Golden Arrows Squadron as they take on a dangerous high-altitude mission where courage and sacrifice matter more than fear. Starring Siddharth, Jimmy Shergill and Abhay Verma, it shows the personal cost behind a major military operation.

4. Waiting Hai (Prime Video)

Waiting Hai follows Sugam, a new RPF officer who starts investigating a Tatkal ticket scam. On the other side, Hamza and Mama turn illegal booking software into a risky business, leading to betrayal, pressure and a dangerous chase. The story becomes a cat-and-mouse game as Sugam tries to stop the scam before Hamza escapes.

5. Irumudi (Netflix)

Irumudi follows plantain farmer Trinadh Rama Kasu, whose simple life is built around his deep love for his daughter Manikanta. When mysterious deaths of village girls shake the area, Manikanta discovers something frightening but dies before she can reveal the truth. Her father’s search for justice becomes both emotional and spiritual as he continues his Ayyappa Deeksha.

6. Zakir Khan: Papa Yaar (Netflix)

Zakir Khan: Papa Yaar is a deeply personal stand-up special built around Zakir’s bond with his father. He looks back at childhood rebellion, growing up, family values and the lessons that only make sense later in life. The special mixes humour with warmth, making it feel like a conversation about parents, mistakes and understanding.

7. Vishwanath & Sons (Netflix)

Vishwanath & Sons follows Sanjay Vishwanath, a successful man whose carefully controlled life changes after family duties and an unexpected relationship enter the picture. His bond with the younger Maddy becomes important, and a later meeting forces him to look again at love, responsibility and old choices. Directed by Venky Atluri, the film blends romance and family drama with an emotional tone.

8. The Revolutionaries (Prime Video)

The Revolutionaries is inspired by Sanjeev Sanyal’s book about young Indians who chose armed resistance against British rule. The series follows four revolutionaries whose fight for freedom pushes them into danger, sacrifice and difficult choices. With Bhuvan Bam, Rohit Saraf, Pratibha Ranta and Gurfateh Pirzada, it brings a dramatic look at courage during India’s freedom struggle.

9. G.D.N. (Netflix)

G.D.N. tells the story of inventor G.D. Naidu, played by R. Madhavan, and his fight to protect ideas that could help transform India. As powerful forces try to block his work, he must hold on to his vision, courage and belief in innovation. The film presents his journey as a story of persistence, pride and the cost of thinking ahead of your time.

10. Ghamasaan (ZEE5)

Ghamasaan is a political crime thriller set in Bundelkhand, where a feared dacoit named Maharaj becomes the centre of a tense manhunt. STF officer Aditya goes after him, but the chase soon exposes corruption, power games and a much bigger conflict. The show mixes action and crime with the harsh politics of the region.
