January 2026 brings a great mix of new movies and web shows across OTT platforms. From courtroom dramas and thrilling spy stories to reality shows and emotional love stories, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Here are eight exciting releases you can look forward to streaming this month.
1. Haq (Netflix)
Inspired by the landmark Shah Bano case, Haq is a courtroom drama that focuses on women’s rights and personal law in India. Starring Yami Gautam and Emraan Hashmi, the film shows how legal battles can challenge long-standing social beliefs. After its theatrical run, it now reaches a global audience on Netflix.
2. MasterChef India – Hindi (Season 9) (SonyLIV)
MasterChef India returns with Season 9, where talented home cooks compete for the top cooking title. Judges Vikas Khanna, Ranveer Brar, and Kunal Kapur guide contestants through tough and emotional culinary challenges. The new season airs on TV and also streams on SonyLIV.
3. Mastiii 4 (ZEE5)

6. Tere Ishk Mein (Netflix)
Tere Ishk Mein is expected to arrive on Netflix after finishing its post-theatrical window. Released in cinemas in November 2025, the film is reportedly planned for a late-January OTT debut. The January 23 date is still tentative.
7. Splitsvilla X6 (Season 16) (JioHotstar)
Splitsvilla X6 returns with a new theme, “Pyaar Ya Paisa,” testing whether love or money matters more. Hosted by Sunny Leone and Karan Kundrra, the season adds more spice with Uorfi Javed’s return and Nia Sharma’s entry. Romance, strategy, and drama keep the competition lively.
8. 120 Bahadur (Prime Video)
120 Bahadur is based on the heroic Battle of Rezang La during the 1962 Sino-Indian War. Farhan Akhtar plays Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, who leads a small unit of soldiers against impossible odds. While January 16 is mentioned, the official OTT release date is still awaited.
